Cilla Worth

Cecilia (Celia, Cilla) Worth was born on 17th July 1921 and lived at The Crown Inn and Farm with younger sister Freda. Their father Davies (born at Cornbrook House on Station Road in 1879) ran the pub and farm and was the third of four successive ‘Davies Worths’ to do so. Cilla was a seamstress and went on to manage a clothing mill in Congleton.
